Nantucket Bay Scallop Sauté

Sautéed scallops and the crusty French Peasant Bread from Judies are made for each other. What a wonderful treat for sea food lovers that is easy and fast prepared. Nantucket scallops are available in local stores only from beginning of November till end of January.

These are the best scallops available on the East Coast! Half the size of sea scallops but double the size of conventional bay scallops, they have such an aromatic sweet flavor and soft texture that they melt on the tongue even when eaten raw.
